Meet Wahab Ali Tamimi: Area Manager at Unilever | Strategic Sales & Business Development Leader

With over 𝟴 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 of experience in customer development, field marketing, and territory management, Wahab Ali Tamimi is a results-driven sales leader known for delivering growth and leading high-performing teams in Pakistan’s FMCG sector.

Currently an Area Manager at Unilever, Wahab plays a key role in managing sales operations, achieving volume targets, and ensuring flawless field ex*****on. Over the past 5 years, his efforts have helped strengthen Unilever’s market presence in highly competitive regions.

Before Unilever, he served as Business Development Manager South at 𝗦𝗺𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗻, where he drove rapid growth for UPL’s water purifier business, launched channel-specific innovations, and expanded distribution across South Pakistan. Earlier at Muller & Phipps Pakistan Pvt Ltd, Wahab supported Unilever Pureit operations, handling customer after-sales services, product training, and dealer enablement in the South Zone.

A graduate of Karachi Institute of Economics and Technology - KIET, Wahab combines operational excellence with strategic insight. His market intuition, leadership, and field-driven mindset make him a standout performer in Pakistan’s FMCG landscape.

KIET CoMS students made a difference at Clifton Beach!

On 4.12.2024 under the guidance of Dr. Sofia Bano, (Patron of TENCoMS Society), they actively participated in the Beach Cleaning Activity. 🧹🌿

Check out the glimpses of event as our students served the environment by removing debris and waste from the beach. Together, we're saving the lives of ocean and coastal wildlife while sending a powerful message to the community about recycling, reusing, and reducing waste.

The College of Management Sciences (CoMS) hosted a workshop for faculty members and students on Qualitative Research Methods on December 2, 2024, at the KIET City Campus Shahrah-e-Faisal Site. The session was conducted by Dr. Junaid Ansari, an Assistant Professor in the Management & Human Resource Management Department at the Institute of Business Management (IoBM). This workshop provided an introduction to qualitative research, focusing on techniques to explore human experiences, behaviors, and social phenomena
