On Thursday, an exciting competition titled “Beyond Logic” was organized, where students showcased remarkable creativity and confidence throughout the event. The competition was named Beyond Logic because participants were challenged with random, illogical topics given on the spot.
As soon as their names were announced, participants came on stage and picked a chit from a bowl containing unusual prompts such as A Dead Cockroach, A Soulless Man, or A Half Glass of Water. Their task was to make sense of these topics through imaginative and logical explanations. The atmosphere was filled with laughter and excitement — the audience could feel the thrill as students’ hearts raced with anticipation.
Alongside this, a Quiz Competition was also conducted, focusing on idioms, phrasal verbs, and vocabulary. Students participated enthusiastically and were rewarded with chocolates and prizes for their correct answers.
Sir Shahrukh Saleem, a corporate trainer, graced the event as the chief guest. He judged and assessed the performances of the participants with great insight and encouragement. The program was hosted by Subhan Saleem, a senior student of EWO, who conducted the event with confidence and enthusiasm.
