WEAVE A TALE ACTIVITY
“Story telling is the most powerful way to put ideas into the world.”

‘Weave a Tale’ activity was conducted for students. The objective of the activity was to build their confidence, sharpen their presentation skills and enrich their vocabulary. The students came up with striking stories, full of innovative ideas and high level of imaginative skills. This activity gave them a platform to raise their writing and story telling skills. The judgement was based on the creativity, time taken to widespread the story and presentation shown by them. Students enjoyed framing up their own stories as this activity provided them an opportunity to ruminate individually.

Color Poems 2022,
Once students experiment with poetry, they learn that they have another outlet for communicating their thoughts, feelings, and experiences. In English lesson students of class 4 were asked to think about colors, while imagining what they taste, feel, smell, sound, and look like. They explored sample color poems, as well as imagery and symbolism. Students used their five senses as a prewriting tool to guide their poetry writing before drafting, revising, and publishing their color poem. Students were excited and highly motivated as the lesson was open-ended enough to encourage students to write/ create free-form color poem based on their respective house color. Presentations were organized in the school assembly & the points were given housewise.
