13th Safar ul Muzfar marks the martyrdom of Sayyida Sakina (sa), the beloved daughter of Imam Hussain (as)

From Karbala to Shaam, her patience became a lesson for humanity
The name Sakina is derived from the Arabic word "Sakina" (سكينة),
meaning tranquility, serenity, and peace.

She was the comfort and peace of her father, Imam Hussain (as)

Imam Hussain (as) would lovingly pray for her:
اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّكَ تَعْلَمُ أَنَّ هَؤُلَاءِ أَهْلُ بَيْتِي، وَإِنَّ سَكِينَةَ أَحَبُّهُمْ إِلَيَّ

"O Allah, You know that these are my AhlulBayt, and indeed Sakina (sa) is among the dearest of them to me

ائمه معصومین علیهم‌السلام سے نقل کیا گیا ہے کہ ماه صفر المظفر میں بلاؤں سے حفاظت کے لیے صدقہ، دعائیں، اور استعاذہ (اللہ تعالیٰ کی پناہ طلب کرنا) سے بہتر کوئی چیز نہیں۔

اگر کوئی شخص چاہے کہ اس مہینے میں حادثات سے محفوظ رہے تو وہ ہر روز دس مرتبہ یہ دعا پڑھے:

يَا شَدِيدَ الْقُوى وَيَا شَدِيدَ الْمِحَالِ يَا عَزِيزٌ
اے زبروست قوتوں والے! اے سخت گرفت کرنے والے! اسے غالب! اے غالب!
يَا عَزِيزُ يَا عَزِيزُ ذَلَّتْ بِعَظَمَتِكَ جَمِيعُ خَلْقِكَ
اے غالب! تیری بڑائی کے آگے تیری ساری مخلوق پست ہے۔ پس اپنی مخلوق کے شر سے بچائے
فَاكْفِنِي شَرَّ خَلْقِكَ، يَا مُحْسِنُ يَا مُجْمِلُ يَا
رکھ۔ اے احسان والے! اے نیکی والے! اے نعمت والے! اے فضل والے!
مُنْعِمُ يَا مُفْضِلُ يَا لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ سُبْحَانَكَ إِنِّي
اے کہ نہیں کوئی معبود سوائے تیرے تو پاک تر ہے بے شک میں ظالموں میں سے
كُنْتُ مِنَ الظَّالِمِينَ فَاسْتَجَبْنَا لَهُ وَنَجَّيْنَاهُ
ہوں۔ پس ہم نے اسکی دعا قبول کی اور اسے نجات دے دی اور ہم مومنوں
مِنَ الْغَمِّ وَكَذَلِكَ تُنْجِي الْمُؤْمِنِينَ، وَصَلَّى
کو اسی طرح نجات دیتے ہیں خدا محمد علی اکرام اور ان کی آل علیہم اسلام
اللهُ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِهِ الطَّيِّبِينَ الطَّاهِرِينَ
پر رحمت نازل کرے جو پاک و پاکیزہ ہیں ۔
