Cedar Schools celebrated a truly special occasion as both our Higher Secondary Campuses — Clifton and PECHS — held their Gowning Ceremonies, formally welcoming the newly elected Student Council for the academic year 2026.

Robed in their ceremonial gowns, the newly appointed council members took their oath of office, pledging to lead with integrity, responsibility, and dedication to their school community. The halls echoed with applause and cheer as peers came together to celebrate their newly appointed leaders, embracing them with pride and support as they stepped into their roles.

More than a ceremony, this was a celebration of leadership, unity, and the spirit of togetherness that defines Cedar Schools. It was a moment that taught our students the true meaning of responsibility, representation, and standing by one another — values that will carry them far beyond the school gates.

Our Lower Secondary students recently experienced democracy first-hand as they took part in their very own Student Council Elections. From marking their choices on ballot papers to witnessing the entire voting process unfold, students got a real, hands-on understanding of what it means to have a voice and use it responsibly.

This wasn’t just an election — it was a lesson in civic duty. Students learned that democracy isn’t just a word in their textbooks; it’s a lived experience built on participation, fairness, and respect for every opinion. Each ballot cast was a small but powerful reminder that every voice matters, and every choice counts.

Our Primary and Lower Secondary students recently took part in their annual Student Council Elections, and the energy on campus was nothing short of inspiring.
