History is one of the best teachers. Those who ignore history live in the dark. Those who learn from history live in the light. This is why the holy Quran is full of stories & lessons from history. When you hold the Quran in your hands, you're not holding a book having 1400-yr old facts - you're actually holding 10,000 years of historical facts and lessons. If we cannot learn from the past 10,000 years, we will never learn anything in the next 10,000.

What is happening in Palestine, or Syria, or elsewhere with us, is not something that was hatched in last few decades. We need to go back at least a 1000 years in history. Why is it that all of a sudden the muslims are so vocal about Palestine (or Syria) today?
