2019 interhouse basket ball tournament.

The St. Patrick's Literary Society is pleased to invite students from ALL SCHOOLS with a passion to pen their thoughts to exhibit their literary talent in this year's Interschool Essay Writing Competition.
Further information and guidelines are as follows:

i. Essays may be submitted by anyone up to 18 years old in one of the following age categories: Category A(ages 11-14) Category B (ages 15-18)
ii. Essays must be of around 300-600 words in English excluding essay title. Essays may be typed or handwritten
iii. Entries must include a cover page indicating
a. Participant’s name
b. Category and prompt chosen
c. Participant’s age
d. School currently enrolled
e. Participant’s e-mail
f. Participant’s phone number
g. The essay title (optional)
h. Word count of the essay [Entries missing any of the above information will not be considered.]
iv. Teachers may submit a collection of essays from their class or group. Please enclose a list of participants' names, ages and the name and contact information of the submitting teacher.
v. Essays must be original and unpublished. Plagiarized entries will be rejected.
vi. Fan-fiction and characters and plots taken from other published works will be rejected, as well.
vii. Essays must be written by one person. Co-authored essays are not accepted and such entries will be cancelled.

Entries are to be submitted with a participation fee of 400 PKR (enclosed in cash) and may be handed in person or sent by courier at the school address. Please mention “Writers and Dreamscapes, Upper Cambridge Section, St. Patrick’s High School” on the envelope. Entries should be delivered or posted to Upper Cambridge Section, St Patrick’s High School, Ahmed Munir Shaheed Road, Karachi, 74400

Deadline: Entries must be received by 22nd December 2019

Winners and prizes will be announced on 12th January 2020
