Values are an integral part in building the character of a student and we plan to provide moral guidance to children according to Islamic values. We provide an environment where student becomes morally strong, academically successful, and prepared for future challenges. We focus on a child’s advancement in terms of self-esteem, academic ability, self-motivation and independent learning. Our Focus is on children’s spending the day in a positive and encouraging, orderly environment. Children are not forced to work but are playfully made to learn. Curriculum is flexible, supported with indoor and outdoor activities. The curriculum which includes course work, co-curricular activities and other school approved educational experiences is the schools formal plan to fulfill its mission statement and expectations for student learning. Childrens are taught with tech tools such as smart boards, computers, audio and visual aids so they not only learn but also create. Achievements outside academics are encouraged and supported such as sports, arts and elocution. HOW IS THE HORIZON HIGH DIFFERENT FROM OTHER SCHOOLS? We as a school take our students health very seriously and hence have arranged for frequent doctor visits for our students regular checkups. Since our school has its primary focus on Islamic teachings we have allotted some time for the ‘Qaida’ classes everyday during school hours. The Horizon High has its own vans for the convenience of its students and parents. The Horizon High has a fully equipped gym inside the school premises for both students and parents to benefit from as we believe in a healthy lifestyle. The Horizon High doesnot take in students on the basis of age as we believe that every child is differently abled so our team of specialists evaluates each child separately by taking a test and then on the basis of evaluation the specialists decide which class the child is eligible to join. The Horizon High has lays great emphasis on individual attention and each child has a customized curriculum in the pre- primary section that he/she can follow at their own individual pace as we believe that till the age of seven a child should be exposed to proper experiential learning techniques so that the child’s concepts are deeply rooted. The Horizon High has well equipped multimedia room for imparting education through creative means which results in longer knowledge retention.
