Its for guidance of New Commers.. Welcome to Mass Communication (UOK) In 1962, the diploma program was replaced by a regular two year M.A. Program.
Previously known as the Department of Journalism, the Department of Mass Communication, was established in 1955 with a diploma course for working journalists. The objective was to produce qualified journalists and media professionals and to cater to the growing needs of the national press and the mass communication industry. This was done in the light of recommendations of the Pakistan Press Communication with the aim to expand and modernize media education in the country.

1 Original marks certificate of the pre-requisite examination passed (not to be returned) and two attested Photostat copy
2 Photocopy of Matric Certificate (Photocopy of the marks sheet shall not be accepted in lieu of Matric Certificate)
3 Attested Photostat copy of the computerized National Identity Card of the applicant. In case the
candidate is below 18 years of age, father’s or mother’s Identity Card. (The original I.D shall be returned after verification)
4 Eight latest Photographs (1” x 1.5”)
So be carefull and complete all these documents and then go to the university and submit it to Directorate of Evening in between 3:00pm To 7:00pm
