We were also thrilled and glad to host 𝐒𝐢𝐫 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐛 𝐊𝐡𝐚𝐧 (𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐀𝐝𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬, 𝐈𝐪𝐫𝐚 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲), who motivated and inspired our incoming students with his valuable insights.

We are proud to announce a remarkable research achievement from the Department of Computer Science, Iqra University – Airport Campus.

Our undergraduate/FYP students, Ziyan Umer, Muhammad Arham, and Syed Jafar Ali Kazmi, under the supervision of Syed Muhammad Waqas and co-supervision of Dr. Affan Alim, Head of the Department of Computer Science, have had their research paper, “Hallucination Detection, Verification, and Correction in Generative AI: A Comprehensive Survey,” accepted for publication in the Natural Language Processing Journal, a Q1, WOS and Scopus-indexed journal with a CiteScore of 9.1.

This accomplishment highlights the growing culture of research and academic excellence at Iqra University – Airport Campus. As an undergraduate research achievement, it can also significantly strengthen our students’ academic profiles and support their pursuit of future Master’s scholarships and research opportunities abroad. 🌍🎓
