AL-Mehdi

Khoonday Ki Niaz" is usually held on from 22 Rajab and after, where people get together for some halwa/puri/channe,naan or tikkia or tikkray (fried biscuit) and Kheer . It is niaz in the name of Imam Jaffer Saadiq (a.s) and many people who hold mannats/vow to God, that if a certain problem is resolved, they will hold " Ki Niaz" while others hold it anyway as part of tradition and invite their friends family and the poor people in the society !
People get together and read Quran, do aamaals etc. Basically its a religious gathering where people have food and make Mannats !
The NIiaz is made in metti keah bartan and those pots are called . Hence, people started calling the koonday.
This niaz is another example of our imams promoting unity b/w different social classes within a society ❤️

کربلا کی زیارت سے واپس آ تے هیں تو جو کپڑا ضریح سے مس کرکے لاتے هیں، اسکی اتنی حفاظت کرتے هیں که اسکو نجس جگه سے بچاتے هیں ، زمین پر گرجایے تو اٹهاکر چومتے هیں، نجس تو دور کی بات هے ميلا بهی هو جایے تو فوراً دهوتے هیں-
‏اسی طرح همهارا جسم بهی تو ضریح امام ع سے مس هوا هے، بلکه همهاری روح تو معرفت کے ساته مس هوکر آیی هے
اسکا اس متبرک کپڑے سے زیاده خیال رکهنا چاهیے، ایسا هو که گناه اسکو آلوده کر دیں اور وه کثیف هو جایے،
ایسا نه هو که جهوٹ،حسد،غیبت،تهمت کی نجاست اسکو نجس کردے،ذرا سوچیں!‏هاں ؛ اگر عمداً، یا سهوا کثیف هو جایے تو دیر نه کریں ، اسکو فوراً توبه کے پانی سے پاک کر لیں چونکہ جو طهارت نفس اب تمهارے پاس هے امام ع کی امانت هے .
خداوند هم سبکو اسکی توفیق دے

When we say Salam e Akhir it doesn't mean that we are sending our salutations for the last time, this is a life achievement to shed tears over Hussain, salam e akhir is said in a context that ayam e aza which were being commemorated in a row were ended by Eid e Shuja ♥️
