Financial literacy is a life skill, and the earlier we learn it, the better decisions we make for our future.
In collaboration with the State Bank of Pakistan under the National Financial Literacy Program (NFLP), students at Government Elementary College of Education Hussainabad (managed by Durbeen) attended an insightful session on smart financial habits, informed decision-making, and money management.
The session was conducted by Mashal Mabood, Manager Sustainability and Initiatives at HBL, encouraging students to build a stronger understanding of financial responsibility from an early stage.
Before there was a teacher in the classroom, there was a mother teaching us at home.
This Mother’s Day, let’s hear from our future teachers: What’s the most valuable lesson your mother has taught you?
Stepping into a real classroom changes everything.
During their practicum at Zindagi Trust adopted government schools — Khatoon-e-Pakistan and SMB Fatima Jinnah — our third year students did their first teaching practicum and experienced teaching beyond B.Ed. theories. From engaging with students to understanding the realities of a classroom, it was a journey of learning, growth, and reflection.
Here’s what they had to say about the experience.
