What happens when students from completely different majors sit in one room with the shared purpose of storytelling?

The IBA Literary Society invited us to host a screen writing and Directing workshop for a room full of filmmaking and literary enthusiasts, and the energy spoke for itself.

Students from completely different majors came together, stepped out of their comfort zones, and explored what it really means to write between the lines, and turn words into cinema.

This is what happens when curiosity meets the right space.

More collaborations like this are on the way. Stay tuned.

Hear it from the director himself.
What started as a screening of Laal Kabootar turned into something much more, an open room, real questions, and honest conversations with the director, Kamal khan and cinematographer Mo Azmi. From the script to the chaos of production, challenges and choices behind the edit and score and much more.
This wasn’t just about watching a film. It was about understanding it, questioning it, and stepping a little closer to the world behind the camera.

If you couldn’t join us for this one, this is your glimpse into our first screening at the - see you for the next one.
Schedule to be shared soon
