Alif Ailaan partnered with School of Leadership for this year's Young Leaders Conference which has participants aged 18-25 from 68 districts of Pakistan. A session of 50 young participants with Dr. Nausheen Hamid, ex-MPA (2013-2018) from PTI was organized to hold a conversation on reforms undertaken by the previous KP government and how future education challenges will be tackled.

While discussing the way forward, Dr. Hamid emphasised the need to finance education. She said that in all cases, finance is a base which needs to be addressed first. "If you will not fund education and set it as a priority, you cannot solve the issue of quality and missing facilities," said Dr. Hamid.

The session concluded with an hour long question and answer session where the young leaders used data to discuss the work of PTI in education reforms past, present and future.

KARACHI CAMBRIDGE SCHOOL has made a mark in joining hands with the 'Million Tree Tsunami' where each individual will plant a Beej Wali Pencil along with other indigenous plants of Karachi to make it more green.
