::::: HISTORY OF IIFE :::::
--------------------------------
The author (Syed Muhammad Yousuf Hasan Tahir) has since long been yearning for an institution of good standard imparting instruction in both secular and spiritual sciences. He proposed this idea to his father (late Qari Syed Raheed-ul-Hasan, Second Preacher, Jamia' Masjid, Binnori Town). My parents' pray
ers were answered and my father's friends, late Mr Mughal and Haaji Mas'ood Parekh, offered us a place to begin our work in former Sabeel Masjid. On the 27th of ramadaan, the Night of Power, the Islamic Institute for Education came into being. We started our school with the prayers of al-qaari Sayyed Rasheed-ul-Hasan. The academic year began from 22nd shaw'waal, with only four boys on rolls. I pray for the parents of those four boys who transferred their children from excellent educational institutions where they had already been enrolled to this school which, like us, was as yet unknown.
