Over one sixth of the world is functionally illiterate, placing them at high risk of poverty, exploitation, and poor health, which can have devastating effects on societies. THE CHALLENGE

While there is deep understanding of the negative impact of illiteracy and great interest in reducing it, traditional means do not offer solutions in the short-term. THE OPPORTUNITY

Now, more than ever, many great forces exist in the world, which, when combined, can increase literacy dramatically if harnessed and mobilized effectively. OUR PLAN

Our initial focus will be on providing primary-level education for children in areas lacking access to schools and teachers, through the use of digital technology.

A milestone worth celebrating.

We came together to applaud the TTWF students who are enrolling into formal schools. These are 98 formerly out-of-school children, and this marks an important transition in their educational journeys.

After taking their first steps towards learning at a TTWF MicroSchool, these students now have the skills to move forward into formal schooling, opening the door to new opportunities to learn, grow, and reach their potential.

The ceremony was a celebration of their progress, perseverance, and the collective effort of the families, TTWF facilitators, communities, and our partners who supported them along the way.

For these 98 students, this is more than a ceremony. It is the beginning of a new chapter and another step towards a future where every child has the opportunity to access and continue their education.

What does it look like when technology is built to solve humanity’s most pressing challenges?

We are proud to be featured by Amazon Web Services (AWS) as part of the Now Go Build CTO Fellowship, a global initiative that empowers leaders in social-impact organizations and accelerates their mission of using technology to tackle some of the world’s most critical challenges.

In this episode, our VP Technology & Learning, Mr. Adnan Qureshi, joins leaders from around the world to explore what it means to build technology for the public good. He shares how Teach the World Foundation is applying this thinking to one of the world’s most urgent challenges: the global literacy crisis.

Through our Digital MicroSchool model, we are leveraging technology to bring learning to children where traditional education infrastructure falls short. It is a solution that is simple, scalable, and designed to reach the communities that need it most.

We are honoured to have TTW’s work featured in this global conversation on technology, innovation, and social impact, and proud to have our leadership represent our mission alongside technology experts building solutions for humanity.

A new door to learning has opened in Mirpurkhas, made possible through the inspiring support of Rotary Pakistan.

TTWF, in proud collaboration with Rotary Pakistan, celebrated the launch of a Digital MicroSchool under the Rotary Smart Villages initiative, bringing technology-driven education directly to out-of-school children in the community. This remarkable effort reflects Rotary Pakistan’s strong commitment to uplifting underserved communities and ensuring that no child is left behind. It also marks the beginning of a long-term partnership, with many more MicroSchools planned in the months ahead.

This launch also marks TTWF's 28th CSR MicroSchool. For the children who gathered that day, this MicroSchool is more than a classroom. It is access. It is opportunity. It is hope for a brighter future through education.

The village community welcomed guests with a warm procession as partners, local leaders, and families came together to celebrate another step towards addressing the out-of-school crisis across Sindh.

Leadership from Aror University, IBA Sukkur, and MicroVision visited a TTWF Digital MicroSchool to engage with our students and launch a special project that will create new learning opportunities for them.

Our esteemed guests were introduced to the MicroSchool model and its innovative approach to education before spending time in the classroom with our learners. During the visit, a young student confidently stepped up to the blackboard, giving the team a firsthand glimpse of the confidence, curiosity, and enthusiasm that define our MicroSchools.

The team also shared plans to launch skills-training initiatives, equipping students with valuable life and employability skills that will prepare them for future opportunities. Collaborations like these demonstrate how meaningful change happens when institutions come together with a shared commitment to expanding access to quality education.

We are grateful to Aror University, IBA Sukkur and MicroVision for their partnership and belief in our mission to end the out-of-school crisis. Together, we are creating pathways for more children to learn, grow, and build brighter futures.

Non-Tablet Friday ❄️🤍

Learning does not always happen through a screen. This Non-Tablet Friday, our students explored creativity through a fun winter-themed handprint activity, turning simple art into smiles, imagination, and confidence.

Hands-on activities help children express themselves, strengthen fine motor skills, and remind us that every lesson can be meaningful, whether it is digital or offline.

At TTWF, we believe in creating a balanced learning experience where technology and creativity go hand in hand.

At TTWF, we believe that meaningful learning happens when knowledge meets action. This International Youth Skills Day, we celebrate our SZABIST University interns who transformed classroom learning into real-world impact through community mapping, field engagement, and project-based work.
Their dedication, curiosity, and commitment to serving communities reflect the power of youth in driving positive change.

Our President, Mr. Arshad Anis, and Vice President, Strategic Partnerships, Mr. Farhan Hassan, attended the opening session of Sindh Education Foundation (SEF)'s 1st Annual Review Conference.

The conference provided an opportunity to reflect on SEF's achievements over the past year, share key learnings, and align future strategies to strengthen educational impact. A key highlight was an insightful keynote by Prof. Zubair Shaikh, President of Mohammed Ali Jinnah University, on the transformative role of AI in EdTech. We were also honored to receive a warm welcome from the Managing Director during his opening remarks and are grateful for our continued partnership with SEF.

AI has the potential to transform education but only if it reaches those who need it most.

We are proud to share that our Vice President, Mr. Adnan A. Qureshi, will be speaking at the AI for Good Global Summit 2026 in Geneva. This is the United Nations' leading event on artificial intelligence, organized by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) in partnership with over 50 UN agencies.

As global leaders come together to explore how AI can solve real-world challenges, TTWF is excited to contribute to the conversation on leveraging technology to expand access to quality education for underserved children through our Digital MicroSchool model.

We look forward to sharing our journey, learning from innovators worldwide, and building partnerships that advance AI for social impact.
