The conference provided a valuable platform to share research insights, engage with academicians and researchers, and explore the latest emerging trends in engineering and technology.

Hamdard University Dental Hospital conducted a hands-on workshop on “EndNote Reference Management” for 3rd Year BDS students, equipping them with essential academic writing and research skills.

The insightful session was delivered by Ms. Maria Rahim, Head of Research Department, Baqai Medical University, who provided practical training on EndNote software including reference organization, Cite While You Write (CWYW), bibliography creation, PDF management, and collaborative research tools.

Hosted by Dr. Saima Asim and organized under the supervision of Chairperson Prof. Syed Imran Hasan, the workshop became an engaging and interactive learning experience for students.

Hamdard University’s Faculty of Eastern Medicine organized a free health screening and awareness camp at Shifa-ul-Mulk Memorial Hospital as part of its commitment to community health and wellbeing.

The camp facilitated general health assessments, including blood pressure monitoring, body weight and height evaluation, infant health measurements, and medical consultations by healthcare professionals. An awareness session was also conducted to educate participants on preventive healthcare and healthy lifestyle practices.

Hamdard University Department of Food Science and Technology proudly showcased innovative student-developed food products created from agricultural byproducts under the supervision of faculty members from the Department of Applied Sciences, Faculty of Engineering Sciences and Technology.

These functional food projects highlighted sustainability, nutrition, and creativity while reflecting the students’ commitment to developing future-ready food solutions and industry-driven innovation.

Hamdard University Faculty of Pharmacy organized an educational visit to Dow Health Sciences Hospital to enhance students’ practical exposure and professional development.

Under the supervision of Dr. Saima Kamran, with the support of student advisor Dr. Arshad Yaqoob and Dr. Tahmina Adnan, the visit provided students with firsthand insight into hospital pharmacy practices, patient care services, and interdisciplinary healthcare operations.

Hamdard University proudly organized a two-day program on International Thalassemia Day 2026 in collaboration with Pakistan Association for Eastern Medicine (PAEM), the Faculty of Eastern Medicine, and Saylani Blood Bank & Thalassemia Care Center to raise awareness about thalassemia prevention, blood donation, and blood screening for safeguarding future generations.

The event was honored by the presence of Madam Sadia Rashid and Worthy Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Imran J. Amin, who appreciated the dedicated efforts of all organizers in promoting public health awareness and community well-being.
