KASBIT hosted a Islamic banking session in collaboration with Meezan Bank, aimed to shed light on the intricacies and principles of Islamic banking.
As the session commenced, distinguished representatives from Meezan Bank took the stage, sharing their expertise and profound insights into the world of Islamic banking. They delved into the foundational principles that guide Islamic financial transactions, emphasizing the importance of ethical and Sharia-compliant practices in the financial industry.
This session not only facilitated the dissemination of knowledge but also served as a testament to the commitment of both institutions to promote awareness and understanding of Islamic finance.
The event stood as a testament to the power of collaboration in fostering education and awareness in the realm of Islamic banking.

The significance of an industrial visit extends beyond mere academic pursuits for students pursuing a professional degree. Incorporated into the university curriculum, such visits are designed to offer students a comprehensive understanding of the internal operations of companies. Serving as a practical complement to theoretical knowledge, the primary objectives of an industrial visit include providing students with valuable insights into real-world applications.

In alignment with this educational philosophy, a cohort of students from KASBIT, accompanied by their esteemed faculty members, undertook a visit to Al-Karam Towel Industries Pvt ltd on January 17, 2024. During this visit, participants had the privilege of engaging with the Human Resources team and Heads of Departments at AKTI, gaining firsthand insights into the operational dynamics of a textile industry in Pakistan.
This visit serves as a pivotal platform for KASBIT students to cultivate a holistic awareness of industrial practices and reinforces the practical relevance of their academic pursuits.

The Clash of Champions, the final showdown of the KASBIT Declamation Contest, took place at KASBIT SMCHS. Participants from all three premises competed fiercely in the ultimate round.

The event was dynamic, robust, and charged with energy. Each participant gave their utmost to claim the victory.
The enthusiastic crowd was fully engaged, providing unwavering support and encouragement to all contestants.

After a month of hard work, two candidates emerged victorious. Mr. Shahmeer Makhdoom was crowned the winner, while Mr. Sheikh Ahmed secured the runner-up position.

Honorable Rector & Director KASBIT, Prof. Dr. Kashif Mehmood, graced the event as the Chief Guest, commending the students for their dedication and energy throughout the contest.

A Guest Speaker's Session was held at KASBIT Hyderi, in BBA III on the topic of "Communication Skills needed for a job interview".

Ms. Maira Qazi was invited on the occasion.
She is The Head of HR & Administration at Alshaheer Group of Companies.
She is an accomplished HR professional with nearly a decade of experience in the field. Throughout her career she has developed an in-depth understanding of human resources practices and has successfully implemented strategies to enhance employee engagement, foster a positive work culture, and drive organizational success.

Her expertise encompasses a wide range of HR functions, including recruitment and onboarding, performance management, employee relations, training and development, compensation and benefits, and HR policy development.

The Talent Acquisition team of Dynamic Worldwide Logistics Group visited the KASB Institute of Technology for a recruitment drive. The recent graduates participated in the drive, exploring various job opportunities.

The Dynamic World-Wide Logistics team Anosha Rab Siddiqui & Fahad Khatri conducted tests and engaged in an activity with our graduates. In addition to the tests and activity, the Dynamic’s team provided a brief company introduction, sharing insights into their logistics services.

NOTE: Declamation Round 1 has been successfully held in all premises. The final round or The Grand Finale of the declamation will be held in next week. Details will be shared with the finalists via whatsapp group and the counseling depart.

KASBIT Declamation Contest Round 1 was held at Hyderi premises.

The participants displayed the finest art of public speaking with zeal and confidence.
Everyone sitting in the hall got much involved and enjoyed the thundering speeches from the participants. All the participants were applauded and cherished on their enunciation.

The top four students who were selected for the final round include: Mehreen, Marium, Aisha & Manahil.

The judges and organizers praised all the participants on their participation.
