Faculty recognised for leadership in child and adolescent mental health

Dr Ayesha Irshad Mian, associate professor & chair, Department of Psychiatry, Aga Khan University, has been recognised with a lifetime achievement award from the University of Missouri International Center for Psychosocial Trauma (UMICPT) and the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Alumni Association at University of Missouri-Columbia. The award is in acknowledgement of her outstanding leadership, impactful mentorship to medical students and emerging psychiatrists and her consistent efforts towards improving mental health for children and adolescents across the globe.

An alumnus of the AKU’s Medical College, Dr Ayesha also currently serves as Dean of Students at the University. Many many congratulations, Dr Ayesha! 👏
