Earth Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Meritorious Schools Network Matric Campus, where students of Classes VI to IX took part in meaningful activities that highlighted the importance of protecting our planet. The celebration began with a special assembly, where students were reminded of their responsibility towards the environment and the need to adopt greener habits in everyday life.

To make the day more impactful, a plantation activity was also organized, giving students a hands-on opportunity to contribute towards a cleaner and healthier environment. In addition, students expressed their creativity and awareness through wonderful posters, beautifully illustrating messages of conservation, sustainability, and love for nature. The event was a wonderful reflection of environmental consciousness, teamwork, and the spirit of responsible citizenship among our young learners.

The English & Urdu Handwriting Competition, held on 17th April 2026 at Meritorious School Network (Matric campus), was a wonderful opportunity for students of Classes VI to IX to showcase their neatness, creativity, and command over written expression. The competition encouraged students to focus on presentation, clarity, and the beauty of handwriting in both languages.

Students participated with great enthusiasm, and their efforts reflected dedication, discipline, and attention to detail. To appreciate their hard work and outstanding performance, certificates were awarded to the best students from each class in both English and Urdu handwriting.

What a lovely start to the new session. Students of Grades VI–IX had a memorable first day as they stepped into a new academic journey filled with excitement, enthusiasm, and new possibilities. The atmosphere was full of energy and joy, making the beginning of the session truly special for everyone.

To make the day even more delightful, an ice cream treat was given by the management. Different engaging activities were planned for the students, while newly admitted students were warmly welcomed with thoughtful gifts and goodie bags, adding even more happiness to their first day at school.

Meritorious Schools Network – Matric Campus proudly hosted a Fireless Cooking Competition, a joyful and engaging activity that brought students together in a spirit of creativity and collaboration.

The event focused on developing essential life skills such as teamwork, sharing, table manners, and healthy eating habits. Students worked enthusiastically in groups, exchanging ideas and learning to cooperate while preparing delicious fireless dishes.

Each class showcased its creativity by preparing sandwiches, salads, and desserts, with teachers guiding and supporting students throughout the process. The atmosphere was filled with excitement, learning, and smiles.

The competition was judged by Headmistress Meher Ali along with Grade X students, who carefully evaluated each dish. The titles of Sandwich of the Day, Salad of the Day, and Dessert of the Day were awarded to deserving groups for their creativity and presentation.

The winners were honored with certificates and tokens of appreciation, while every participant received an appreciation certificate, celebrating effort, teamwork, and learning beyond the classroom.

This event beautifully reflected Meritorious’s commitment to holistic education, where students learn not only academics, but also the skills that shape confident and responsible individuals.
