Fidem Education Network fidem is a newly established publishing house, which started its operations in 2011. Fidem is a Latin term which means ‘faith and belief’.

fidem's publishing plans revolve mainly around the school textbooks however; we aim to expand further by providing general and reference books in the near future. Having our head office in Karachi and branch offices in Lahore and Islamabad, we are committed towards the propagation of knowledge and education with quality. fidem takes into consideration key factors of ‘National Interest’, as its published resources are distinctive, when it comes to our national culture and meeting the requirements of schools, national curriculum and students. fidem understands that publishing industry is facing huge demands in our country, and there is an absolute need of providing education through modern techniques. fidem’s key objective is to develop and promote local authors and writers alongside foreign authors. We select highly educated and experienced Pakistani writers who can work along with fidem for the sake of producing books of high standards with modern methods.Another aspect, we are focused on, is developing books that are affordable for the local market. ‘Meri Duniya’ is the series of 5 Urdu textbooks for primary grades starting from class 1 to 5. The skill level of children at each stage has been focused while developing the content. All of the poetry is written for each book particularly. Both, the standard and the interest of children have been maintained in case of selecting poems from other poets. An important aspect of these books is that all the lessons contain workbook sections pertaining to the content of the chapters, so that the children can learn the word bank, the grammar rules, and at the same time test their skills. ‘Talking Numbers’ is series of 5 textbooks starting from grade 1 to 5. In the beginning of each unit, the demonstrative content ‘Inside the Classroom’ and ‘Outside the Classroom’ is given for the purpose that the teachers as well as the students can brainstorm and come up with discussions, making learning more relevant and motivating. The practice questions follow the ‘Easy to Difficult Path’, which allows smooth progress. Statement questions or problem sums are generally considered to be a challenging aspect of conceptual applications. Hence statement question exercises are given throughout the course work so as to enable the students to develop as well as practice the skill of interpreting an English language sentence into a mathematical sentence.
