Confession means to tell the truth about something you did or said that was wrong or hurtful. Tell the truth and apologize, and do something to make amends for what you did, AND never to do that again. If you ask the wronged person's forgiveness, they may not feel like forgiving you, but you've done all you can do to make it right so let it go and don't keep beating yourself up about it. confession means

- a written document acknowledging an offense and signed by the guilty party
- (Roman Catholic Church) the act of a penitent disclosing his sinfulness before a priest in the sacrament of penance in the hope of absolution
- a public declaration of your faith
- the document that spells out the belief system of a given church (especially the Reformation churches of the 16th century)
