Three of our generations now proudly serving the Pakistani astronomy community Ma'sha Allah!
💚
A patron had bought one 90mm Sky-Watcher AZ3 refracting telescope ten years ago. Right after the purchase, he had to go abroad and lent his beloved telescope to his friend. That friend however left the telescope outside in the rain and sun, for over seven years! It was a dusty mess when the original owner collected the telescope. He had no hope of its revival, but he still brought to us. And as a labor of love, we disassembled and thoroughly cleaned the whole telescope. To our genuine delight, every single part of the telescope worked perfectly fine, even after years of mishandling. That's the power of quality manufacturing, superior design and top-tier raw materials.
12 years of providing top-quality astronomy gear and accessories at factory-direct, lowest prices. And counting Alhamdulillah!

Do you remember what you were doing five years ago? Although now it seems incredibly hard to believe, it is FIVE YEARS since the whole world came to a standstill due to COVID-19!
FIVE YEARS!!! 🌎 🗺
In the lockdown even when the courier companies were closed, we were still sending our superb quality telescopes across Pakistan Alhamdulillah. To keep children and grown-ups alike fascinated and engaged with the starry sky, all while maintaining lockdown protocols.
And while everything was closed or unavailable, we were still not charging a premium for our telescopes or accessories, even though they were in ready stock. It was true then and it is true now. We have Ma'sha Allah always had the lowest prices, the highest quality and the absolute best customer service in Pakistan!

Do you know that stars have different colors? The hottest stars, with surface temperatures of 25,000 degrees Celsius, are blue. The "coolest" stars are red, with a surface temperature of "merely" 3,000 degrees Celsius!
Also, this is an actual, defocused photo of the night sky, to uniquely bring out the star colors. Can you guess which part of the sky does it show?

Exactly ten years ago today, in a leap of faith, unwavering trust in the future of the Pakistani astronomy scene and our own vision to make astronomy and space exploration more accessible in our country, we Alhamdulillah did the unthinkable. We imported a crazy number (the minimum order quantity from the factory was huge) of the now venerable 90mm Sky-Watcher AZ3 refracting telescopes! Folks thought it was crazy to get such a large number of high quality telescopes for the first time ever in an untested market. But time proved us right. The telescope became an overnight hit.
ماشاءاللہ۔ الحمدللہ!
And this is the story of how our 90mm Sky-Watcher AZ3 refractor became the most common, most loved astronomical telescope in !

In fond memory of 12th May 2015, some humour with that other celebrity TV telescope!

One of Pakistan's most experienced amateur astronomers, owner of an 18" f/4.5 Obsession dobsonian telescope since 2004, former president of KAS and the current national coordinator for Pakistan for Astronomers Without Borders is Air Commodore (Retd.) Khalid Marwat. In the inset, he's seen observing the transit of Venus from PAF Public School, Rashidabad, Sindh, on 8 June 2004 with his solar filtered 8" Meade 2080 Schmidt-Cassegrain. We and several other astronomy enthusiasts have been promoting the craze of stargazing and space exploration in Pakistan since decades now. Alhamdulillah. So it is always a delight when we see a new seller come up and claim that they "finally" have the lowest, wholesale prices in Pakistan. The more, the merrier like they say! But even after 14+ years of selling top-notch astronomy gear in the country, we still have the lowest prices, the fastest delivery and the absolute best customer service!
Mastering how to choose and use the right finderscope makes a lot of the difference between being a successful hunter of the night sky's treasures and someone who is dejectedly wondering what is wrong with his or her telescope. Ever since we first imported our merchandise from Sky-Watcher, we have known that everything - the optics, value for money, accessories, ergonomics and overall engineering - is top-notch. And in all sincerity, it is an astronomy buff's delight.
One day we decided to do a comparison of the classy 8x50mm Sky-Watcher finderscope, which comes as the black variant with Sky-Watcher collapsible dobsonians and in the white version with the solidtube dobsonians, with a "9x50" finderscope from another major brand for the benefit of Pakistani astronomy enthusiasts. We got plenty of delightful surprises which made us grin from ear to ear. We have shared our findings before, and will Insha Allah share again with photos.
