Introduction
This programme caters to individuals who are interested in a thorough investigation of the medium and its related disciplines. Emphasis is on exploring and comprehending contemporary photographic concepts and practices along with training the students to enter the professional arena of photography in the region. Culminating in a Final research-based Project, the programme chronologically takes the students from the basics of digital photography to the advanced studio and on-field practices, contextualizing research and aesthetics throughout the programme. The PGD Photography programme requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline, along with a portfolio of 10-15 images and a Statement of Purpose. Applicants will be required to go through a panel interview and a portfolio presentation. Programme Structure
The PGD in Photography is a one-year programme offered over two semesters, each 18 weeks long, 5 days a week. The core studio, theory and workshop classes are offered from Monday to Friday, following which the studio remains open for students to work on their assignments. Program Incharge: Madiha Aijaz
