Our KG students enjoyed a special Iftar gathering filled with joy and learning. The activity helped children understand the spirit of Ramadan by encouraging kindness, gratitude, and respect for food.

Through this meaningful experience, students learned the importance of sharing, doing good deeds, and being thankful for the blessings they receive. Such activities help nurture values alongside learning at Pathways British School.

Our Year 7 students recently carried out a lungs observation activity in the science laboratory as part of their learning under the Pearson Edexcel curriculum. During the session, students explored the structure of the lungs and learned how they function in the human respiratory system.

Through guided observation and discussion, students developed a clearer understanding of how lungs help us breathe and why maintaining healthy lungs is important for overall wellbeing. The activity also encouraged curiosity and strengthened students’ scientific observation skills.

At Pathways British School, practical learning experiences help students understand scientific concepts more effectively while building confidence in the laboratory.

Our Year 11 Biology students recently carried out a practical experiment in the science laboratory as part of the Pearson Edexcel specification. During the activity, students investigated the presence of starch, proteins, and lipids in different food samples using standard food tests.

Through careful observation and recording of results, students explored how these nutrients can be identified through chemical reactions. The practical session strengthened their understanding of food chemistry while also developing important laboratory, analytical, and observation skills.

Year 11 students engaged in practical learning during today’s Chemistry lab session, carrying out an experiment with ferrous sulfate and sodium hydroxide. The formation of a green precipitate allowed them to observe precipitation reactions in action and connect theory with real scientific investigation.

Hands-on learning remains a key part of developing curiosity, critical thinking, and deeper understanding in science at Pathways British School.
