سورة النساء
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ اتَّقُوا رَبَّكُمُ الَّذِي خَلَقَكُم مِّن نَّفْسٍ وَاحِدَةٍ وَخَلَقَ مِنْهَا زَوْجَهَا وَبَثَّ مِنْهُمَا رِجَالًا كَثِيرًا وَنِسَاءً ۚ وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ الَّذِي تَسَاءَلُونَ بِهِ وَالْأَرْحَامَ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ عَلَيْكُمْ رَقِيبًا ‎﴿١﴾‏ وَآتُوا الْيَتَامَىٰ أَمْوَالَهُمْ ۖ وَلَا تَتَبَدَّلُوا الْخَبِيثَ بِالطَّيِّبِ ۖ وَلَا تَأْكُلُوا أَمْوَالَهُمْ إِلَىٰ أَمْوَالِكُمْ ۚ إِنَّهُ كَانَ حُوبًا كَبِيرًا ‎﴿٢﴾

O MANKIND! Be conscious of your Sustainer, who has created you out of one living entity, and out of it created its mate, and out of the two spread abroad a multitude of men and women. And remain conscious of God, in whose name you demand [your rights] from one another, and of these ties of kinship. Verily, God is ever watchful over you! (1) Hence, render unto the orphans their posses­sions, and do not substitute bad things [of your own] for the good things [that belong to them], and do not consume their possessions together with your own: this, verily, is a great crime. (2)

New Reflection Series: Perception & Insight

Not Wealth. Not Sons. Only the Pure Heart Stands.

Success often deceives.
We see wealth as strength, children as legacy — but the insight of Revelation tells a harder truth:
None of it will stand.
Only a heart uncorrupted — قلبِ سلیم — will matter in the end.

يَوْمَ لَا يَنفَعُ مَالٌ وَلَا بَنُونَ، إِلَّا مَنْ أَتَى ٱللَّهَ بِقَلْبٍ سَلِيمٍ

The Day when neither wealth nor sons will benefit anyone, except the one who comes to Allah with a pure heart.
— Surah Ash-Shuʿarā (26:88–89)

نہ مال چلے گا، نہ بیٹے — صرف دل باقی رہے گا

کامیابی اکثر دھوکہ دیتی ہے۔
ہم مال کو طاقت، اور بیٹوں کو نام کا سہارا سمجھتے ہیں —
مگر وحی کی بصیرت کہتی ہے:
یہ سب باقی نہیں رہے گا۔
آخری دن صرف وہ دل باقی رہے گا — جو پاک ہو، قلبِ سلیم۔

يَوْمَ لَا يَنفَعُ مَالٌ وَلَا بَنُونَ، إِلَّا مَنْ أَتَى ٱللَّهَ بِقَلْبٍ سَلِيمٍ
جس دن نہ مال فائدہ دے گا، نہ بیٹے — بس وہ جو پاک دل لے کر آئے۔

سورة آل عمران
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
مَتَاعٌ قَلِيلٌ ثُمَّ مَأْوَاهُمْ جَهَنَّمُ ۚ وَبِئْسَ الْمِهَادُ ‎﴿١٩٧﴾‏ لَٰكِنِ الَّذِينَ اتَّقَوْا رَبَّهُمْ لَهُمْ جَنَّاتٌ تَجْرِي مِن تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا نُزُلًا مِّنْ عِندِ اللَّهِ ۗ وَمَا عِندَ اللَّهِ خَيْرٌ لِّلْأَبْرَارِ ‎﴿١٩٨﴾‏ وَإِنَّ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ لَمَن يُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَمَا أُنزِلَ إِلَيْكُمْ وَمَا أُنزِلَ إِلَيْهِمْ خَاشِعِينَ لِلَّهِ لَا يَشْتَرُونَ بِآيَاتِ اللَّهِ ثَمَنًا قَلِيلًا ۗ أُولَٰئِكَ لَهُمْ أَجْرُهُمْ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ سَرِيعُ الْحِسَابِ ‎﴿١٩٩﴾‏ يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اصْبِرُوا وَصَابِرُوا وَرَابِطُوا وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ ‎﴿٢٠٠﴾‏

it is [but] a brief enjoyment, with hell thereafter as their goal - and how vile a resting-place! - (197) whereas those who remain conscious of their Sustainer shall have gardens through which running waters flow, therein to abide: a ready welcome from God. And that which is with God is best for the truly virtuous. (198) And, behold, among the followers of earlier revelation there are indeed such as [truly] believe in God, and in that which has been bestowed from on high upon you as well as in that which has been bestowed upon them. Standing in awe of God, they do not barter away God's messages for a trifling gain. They shall have their reward with their Sustainer - for, behold, God is swift in reckoning! (199) O you who have attained to faith! Be patient in adversity, and vie in patience with one another, and be ever ready [to do what is right], and remain conscious of God, so that you might attain to a happy state! (200)

The Limit of Sight — The Beginning of Insight

I reflect in the mirror to ponder: “wa huwa yudriku al-abṣār” —
He perceives every gaze.
And as I search for the gaze that comprehends my gaze,
my own sight turns inward — then returns, humbled.

This is the farthest reach of perception:
when the eye realizes its own inability to see.
The eyes cannot grasp Him —
but the heart submits to the truth:
al-Laṭīf, al-Khabīr surrounds all vision.
He sees the seers.

لَا تُدْرِكُهُ ٱلْأَبْصَـٰرُ وَهُوَ يُدْرِكُ ٱلْأَبْصَـٰرَ ۖ وَهُوَ ٱللَّطِيفُ ٱلْخَبِيرُ

Vision perceives Him not, but He perceives all vision. And He is the Subtle, the All-Aware.
— Surah Al-Anʿām (6:103)

نظر کی حد، ادراک کی ابتدا

میں آئینے میں جھانکتا ہوں —
وَهُوَ يُدْرِكُ ٱلْأَبْصَـٰرَ پر غور کرتا ہوں:
وہ ہر نگاہ کو پا لیتا ہے۔
اور جب میں اُس نظر کو تلاش کرتا ہوں جو میری نظر کو سمجھتی ہے —
تو میری نگاہ پلٹتی ہے، اندر جھانکتی ہے —
پھر خاموش ہو کر لوٹ آتی ہے۔

ادراک کی معراج یہی ہے:
جب نظر اپنے نہ دیکھ سکنے کو پہچان لے۔
آنکھیں اُسے نہیں پا سکتیں —
مگر دل تسلیم کرتا ہے کہ
ٱللَّطِيفُ ٱلْخَبِيرُ ہر نگاہ کو گھیرے ہوئے ہے۔
وہ دیکھنے والوں کو دیکھ رہا ہے۔

لَا تُدْرِكُهُ ٱلْأَبْصَـٰرُ وَهُوَ يُدْرِكُ ٱلْأَبْصَـٰرَ ۖ وَهُوَ ٱللَّطِيفُ ٱلْخَبِيرُ

"نگاہیں اسے نہیں پا سکتی ہیں اور وہ نگاہوں کو پا لیتا ہے، اور وہ بڑا لطیف اور باخبر ہے".
