🌍 Earth Day Celebration – Junior School 🌱

On the occasion of Earth Day, our Junior School students stepped forward as proud Ambassadors of the Earth. Through engaging assembly presentations and creative art activities, our young learners explored their role in protecting and nurturing our planet.

This year’s focus was to inspire meaningful thinking: What can we, as young students, do for our Mother Earth? The children thoughtfully reflected on environmental challenges and discussed practical, age-appropriate ways to make a difference. From small everyday actions to bigger commitments, they discovered that every effort counts.

The enthusiasm, awareness, and sense of responsibility displayed by our students were truly inspiring. By encouraging them to think, reflect, and act, we are nurturing a generation that values and protects the world they live in.

Our little learners had a wonderful time celebrating Earth Day through fun and meaningful activities! 💚

From exploring *germination* and understanding how plants grow, to creating beautiful *Earth Day crafts, our students learned to love and care for nature. 🌼 They also enjoyed a **sorting activity*, where they identified what can and cannot be recycled, helping them understand the importance of reducing waste. ♻️

One of the most exciting activities was learning how *throwing wrappers makes the Earth sad 😔 and planting trees makes the Earth happy 😊*. Through this, children understood how their small actions can make a big difference. 🌳

These hands-on experiences are helping our young learners become responsible and caring citizens of the Earth. 🌏✨

Exploring Balance Through Art

Art is not just about colors and creativity—it is also about understanding patterns, structure, and balance.

Our Class 5 students engaged in a symmetrical drawing activity, where they explored how one half of an image mirrors the other. This hands-on experience helped them develop a deeper understanding of symmetry, an important concept not only in art but also in mathematics and the world around us.

Through this activity, students enhanced their observation skills, focus, and precision while expressing their creativity in a structured way. It was wonderful to see them so involved, carefully completing each design with enthusiasm and attention to detail.

The students of Class 4 revised compound words through an exciting and interactive activity. 📚✨
They were divided into groups and given different placards with words. Each group selected two words, combined them to form a compound word, and confidently presented it to the class. They also used their new words in meaningful sentences. 🗣️💡
This hands-on activity helped students strengthen their vocabulary, boost their confidence, and enjoy learning together. Well done, Class 4! 👏😊
