PhD position in P2X7 receptor signaling at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich.

Here is the information listed in the advertisement:

The project will investigate the molecular mechanisms of P2X7 receptor signaling and its involvement in immune cell function.
P2X7 is an ATP-gated ion channel and key mediator of inflammation.
The project will use P2X7 knock-out and BAC transgenic P2X7-EGFP mouse models.
Researchers will use biochemical, biophysical and functional approaches to identify and validate P2X7 interaction partners and possible roles of P2X7 in immune cell function.
The advertisement is looking for highly motivated researchers with a good background in molecular biology and biochemistry. The ability to responsibly plan and perform experiments and to work in an international team is expected. Experience in working with genetically modified mice, functional analysis of ion channels and primary immune cell assays is an advantage.

• Familiarity with front-end design languages, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and various mapping languages.

• Strong analytical research skills are a requirement.
• Knowledge in spatial analysis for agriculture and natural forests would be advantageous.
