Dear All,

Earth Day has been celebrated on the 22nd of April, every year since 1970. It is an important day because its purpose is to raise awareness amongst people about the negative impact of our actions on nature and other living things around us, causing the deterioration of the Earth’s natural beauty.
The Earth is our home, and we are its protectors. This Earth Day, we should promise ourselves and make a resolution to Reduce our usage of natural resources such as paper and fuels, to Reuse non-biodegradable materials such as plastic, and Recycle materials as much as we can to stop producing so much trash. Some things you can do are:
• Use paper straws and cups
• Switch off extra electrical appliances
• Recycle metal, paper and plastic at home
• Plant trees and don’t harm plants
• Take care of animals and don’t needlessly harm them

Every person matters. If we all do our parts, together we can save the Earth and preserve its beauty for our generations to come.
