SUMMER VACATION ANNOUNCEMENT:

The Playschool and Kindergarten Section of The Indus Academy will remain closed for Summer Vacations from Monday, 22nd May 2023 until Monday, 7th August 2023, both days inclusive.

The new academic year 2023-24 will begin from Tuesday, 8th August 2023.

ADMISSION ANNOUNCEMENT
FOR ACADEMIC YEAR 2023-24

SESSION STARTS FROM AUGUST 2023

Dear Parents,

We are pleased to announce that The Indus Academy is open for registration for our Nursery, Prep, Kindergarten, Grade 1 and Grade 2 classes for the new academic year beginning in August 2023.

Children born between the dates outlined below are eligible to apply:

* Nursery: May 2020 - Apr 2021
* Prep: May 2019 - Apr 2020
* Kindergarten: May 2018 - Apr 2019
* Grade 1: May 2017 - Apr 2018
* Grade 2: May 2016 - Apr 2017

If interested in applying for admission, kindly send us an email at [email protected] stating your child’s name, date of birth and the grade level for which your child is eligible in order to initiate the registration process.

WINTER BREAK

The Playschool and Kindergarten Section (The Playschool till Grade 2) will remain closed for winter vacations from Monday, 19th December 2022 until Friday, 6th January, 2023, both days inclusive.

Classes will resume from Monday, 9th January 2023.

A TRIBUTE TO OUR BELOVED
SALMA JUNEJO SARDAR

It is with deep sadness that the TIA family mourn the passing of their beloved teacher, Salma Junejo Sardar.

Salma was a much-loved team member of The Indus Academy for more than 21 years. We thank her and remember her for her grace, humour and warmth. A gifted storyteller, a nurturing, caring educator and a wonderful human being! Salma, you will be missed everyday at school.

All those who knew her, were taught by her and were touched by her presence, please recite a prayer for Salma Junejo Sardar.

Dear Parents,

Due to incessant rain all day today and in view of the uncertain weather and road conditions in the city tomorrow, The Playschool and Kindergarten Section will remain closed on Thursday, 18th August 2022.

We regret any inconvenience caused.

REGARDING RE-OPENING OF SCHOOL:

Dear Parents,

In view of the current weather conditions, and a prediction of rain in the coming week, The Playschool and Kindergarten Section will re-open for all students on Wednesday, 10th August 2022.

The orientation for parents will be held prior to that and details will be shared with you in the coming week.

We regret the inconvenience but given the uncertain and extreme monsoons that we are experiencing this year, the decision to reopen school a week later is in the best interest of the children particularly for their safety and well-being.
