The Department of Social and Development Studies SMIU organized a panel discussion "Role of Inclusive Society in Sustainable Development of Pakistan" at Sir Shahnawaz Bhutto Auditorium.
Dr. Shireen. Narejo, Secretary, Social Welfare Department, Government of. Sindh, Renowned environmentalist Nasir Panhwar,
Senior journalists and Director CEJ-IBA Karachi, Ms. Amber Rahim Shamsi, Dr. Zahid Ali Channar, Dean of Social Sciences were among the panelists.
Prof. Dr. Mujeeb Sahrai Vice Chancellor SMIU also delivered his speech. The session was moderated by Dr Subhash, Chairperson of the department and hosted by Mr. Kamil Ali Lakho, lecturer of Social and Development Studies.

Department of Social and Development Studies, SMI University has planned to organize a panel discussion on the topic, Role of inclusive society in Sustainable Development of Pakistan on Tuesday 10th January 2023 at SMIU. All faculty and students are invited to attend the event.

Department of Social Development of SMIU organised a Webinar on the topic "Status of Social Science Education in Pakistan and need of Social Scientists in Society” at Senate Hall of SMIU. Prof. Dr. Riaz Ahmed , Dean Faculty of Social Sciences and Education, SZABIST was the guest speaker of this session. The founding Chairperson Dr. Subhash is also addressing the audience.
