The Graduate Programme at the Indus Valley School of Art and Architecture is excited to announce its sixth Graduate Degree Show! The M.Phil. in Art and Design was initiated in 2020 at IVS with the aim of facilitating interdisciplinary graduate studies in Karachi. This semester, we proudly announce the opening of the thesis display of five graduating students to successfully complete the degree:

We are delighted to host Ayesha Zulfiqar as a guest artist at our campus. During her time at IVS, Ayesha has conducted workshop tutorials with thesis students of Fine Arts and developed her work using our in-house technical support. It has been a wonderful experience hosting her, and we are thrilled to showcase her recent findings in the form of an open studio at IVS Gallery. Join us for her talk, followed by an open studio display, as part of her ongoing exploration.
The open studio will remain on display until the 17th of April at the IVS Gallery.
About Ayesha Zulfiqar:
Ayesha Zulfiqar is an artist and educator based in Lahore, Pakistan. She holds an MFA from Chelsea College of Arts in London and a degree from the National College of Arts, Lahore. Throughout her academic journey, Ayesha has been awarded numerous scholarships. Since 2009, she has participated in both solo and group exhibitions and has been a part of various national and international artist residency programs.
We hope to see you there for this exciting opportunity to engage with Ayesha’s work and learn more about her creative process.

Talk: Place and Possibility by Ayesha Zulfiqar
Date: Thursday, 10th April 2025
Time: 3:00 PM – 4:30 PM
Location: Fine Art 3D Studio, IVS
The open studio will remain on display until the 17th of April at the IVS Gallery.
Program:
The event will begin at 3:00 PM sharp at the Fine Art 3D Studio, where Ayesha Zulfiqar will present her talk. Following the talk, there will be a walk-through of her research and findings, which are displayed as part of an open studio at the IVS Gallery.
