Why is it important to be grounded in life?

Being grounded means that you are connected to the source of your existence. You understand that nothing that you call yours will remain, except the thoughts, experiences and inspirations you leave for others.

Some people see a material gain, achievements and success as their power. When they reach high in life, they become arrogant, self-centred and hostile. They belittle and mistreat those who they feel are below them. One must remember that no position, status or power lasts forever. In a blink of an eye, you can fall and become powerless. The only people that remain powerful are the ones who remain humble and close to the ground because they are not afraid of the fall.

No matter how much successful you become, never forget that you actually have nothing, not even this body. If everything you have can shred one day, what do you even have to feel boast about?
