Pakistani actress Mahira Khan recently shared a playful video on her Instagram reels, contemplating getting her nose pierced despite her mother's disapproval.

Despite her extensive work in both small and big-screen projects, including Bollywood, Mahira has never opted for a nose piercing, a common tradition and fashion trend among women in South Asia.

On the popular photo and video sharing platform, the Superstar actor posted a selfie video wearing a nose ring, accompanied by Instagram music.

In the caption, Mahira expressed her desire to get her nose pierced, but also humorously recounted what a conversation with her mother about this topic would entail.

A fire at Lahore's Allama Iqbal International Airport caused delays for Hajj flights early Thursday morning.

Initial reports suggest the blaze damaged part of the immigration system, halting the immigration process and leading to the evacuation of passengers from the lounge due to smoke.

Firefighters and Rescue 1122 were dispatched to control the fire, with its cause yet to be determined.

Pakistan's first lunar mission, iCube Qamar, has been successfully deployed in orbit, Dr Khurram Khurshid, a member of the core team at the Institute of Space Technology (IST).

He said the orbiter was successfully deployed in lunar orbit on 8th May at 1:14pm PST, terming the development “a great success overall”.

Following its deployment, the satellite will allow imaging of the desired Lunar surfaces in a carefully selected 12-hour elliptical orbit.

The iCube Qamar was launched on board China's Chang'e-6 from Hainan, China, on May 3.

SpaceX has unveiled a new extravehicular activity (EVA) suit designed for the upcoming Polaris Dawn mission, marking the first private spacewalk by astronauts.

The mission is scheduled for this summer and will involve private astronauts conducting EVA tasks. The new suit, revealed on SpaceX's website and social media platforms, is a slightly thicker and more technologically advanced version of the company's initial spacesuit.

Polaris Dawn, the next private astronaut launch by SpaceX, is set to feature the first EVA tasks performed by private astronauts. To facilitate this, SpaceX developed its own spacesuit capable of protecting wearers in the harsh environment of space.

The suit, resembling SpaceX's existing intravehicular activity (IVA) suit worn during spacecraft launches and landings, incorporates material enhancements and joint improvements to enhance mobility while safeguarding astronauts from the extreme conditions of space.
