Allied Health Professional Council (AHPC) Zero Visit Inspection at Isra University Karachi Campus
The Allied Health Professionals Council (AHPC), Government of Pakistan, under the Ministry of National Health Services, Regulations & Coordination, conducted a Zero Visit Inspection at Isra University Karachi Campus (IUKC) on 8 January 2026.
The AHPC delegation comprised Mr. Muhammad Ismail Jiskani (Chairman, Zero Visit Inspection Team), Dr. Muhammad Imran, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Asif, Aashiq Ali Soomro and Ms. Atia Rehman (Co-opt Members).
The delegation was warmly welcomed by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Umer Kazi, Pro Vice Chancellor, IUKC; Prof. Dr. Naved Kazi, Dean, Allied Medical Sciences; Prof. Dr. Asad Raza Jiskani, Dean, Basic Medical Sciences; Dr. Hameed Talpur, Director, Isra School of Optometry; and Dr. Noman Ahmed Issani, Principal, Isra Institute of Rehabilitation Sciences.
The team visited the Isra School of Optometry and the Isra Institute of Rehabilitation Sciences, reviewing academic, clinical, and infrastructural facilities in line with AHPC standards.

Second CPSP Pre-Conference Workshop at ATMC
Al-Tibri Medical College, Isra University Karachi Campus, successfully conducted the CPSP pre-conference workshop “Transforming Evaluation: Enhancing Question Quality Through Item Analysis” on 20/01/2025.
The interactive session was facilitated by Prof. Dr. Asad Raza Jiskani along with Dr. Anas bin Tariq, Dr. Omaimah Tauqir & Dr. Amna Khan, with active participation from healthcare professionals and faculty members.

A comprehensive Awareness Session was organized at Baqai Medical University for newly inducted postgraduate students to initiate the academic term with clarity, structure, and purpose.

The session covered essential aspects of postgraduate education, including academic regulations, clinical protocols, ethical responsibilities, and research standards. Senior faculty members and PGMI administration delivered focused guidance on semester systems, attendance policies, documentation procedures, and professional conduct.

A focused session was led by the Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC), which underscored the university’s strategic framework for academic quality assurance. The QEC team elaborated on outcome-based education (OBE), internal self-assessment mechanisms, and compliance with the Higher Education Commission (HEC) quality standards. Additionally, QEC engaged the students in a constructive dialogue on Baqai Medical University's governance model, highlighting institutional accountability, decision-making processes, and the role of students as active stakeholders in academic development and institutional excellence.
