Denning Centre for Professional Development, under Denning Law School, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with HR DOST Pakistan to launch a Diploma in Labour Laws!

This strategic collaboration aims to provide students and professionals with comprehensive knowledge of labour regulations, employment rights, industrial relations and legal compliance. The diploma will offer practical insights into the evolving landscape of workplace policies, preparing participants for careers in HR, Legal Consultancy, Industrial Relations, and Compliance Management.

The MoU was officially signed by Rabia Ayaz, Co-Founder, HR DOST Pakistan, and Justice (R) Muhammad Shahid Shafiq, Dean, Denning Law School, marking the beginning of a transformative initiative in Legal Education and Professional Development.

Sindh Bar Council x Denning Law School

We are pleased to announce a strategic collaboration between Sindh Bar Council (SBC) and Denning Centre for Professional Development under Denning Law School to enhance legal education and professional training.

Key Commitments:
✅ Internships & Courtroom Exposure – SBC will offer 4-6 week internship placements to Denning’s final-year students and provide opportunities to observe judicial proceedings in subordinate and high courts.

✅ Training & Enrollment Support – SBC will conduct viva voce exam training and assist Denning law graduates in completing their lawyer enrollment process.

✅ Professional Development – Denning will provide training facilities for SBC, arrange mediation training for lawyers, and support the development of SBC staff.

✅ Guest Lectures & Certifications – SBC lawyers will conduct guest lectures at Denning, and both institutions will issue joint certifications for collaborative training programs.

This partnership is a step forward in bridging academia and legal practice, ensuring that future lawyers are well-equipped with practical knowledge and professional opportunities.

We are thrilled to announce that Denning Centre for Professional Development, under Denning Law School, has signed an MoU with Inspectorate General Sindh Prisons & Corrections Service (SP&CS) to foster legal education, research, rehabilitation, and professional development.

This collaboration marks a significant step toward bridging academia with real-world legal practice while promoting rehabilitation initiatives within correctional facilities.

🔹 Internship & Research Opportunities:
20 final-year Denning students will be offered 6-8 week internships within Sindh Prisons.
Students will conduct qualitative and quantitative research on key legal and correctional topics.
Access to inmates for case studies, rehabilitation programs, and scholarly research.

🔹 Training & Development:
SP&CS staff will receive training and development programs from Denning.
Opportunities for officers interested in teaching to contribute to legal academia.

🔹 Rehabilitation & Legal Aid:
Denning will introduce technical and vocational training for inmates.
Programs focused on psychological well-being, cultural activities, and inmate rehabilitation.

Denning Legal Aid Society (DLAS) will provide free legal aid to deserving prisoners.
