Kang Duk Won is an old school Martial Art whose new form is Tae Kwon Do, the Korean style of freehan Grand Master Saleem A.
Jehangir (8th Dan Black Belt), the pioneer of Tae Kwon Do in Pakistan from the 1970s and his student Master Shahid Mir (2nd Dan Black Belt) have started Kang Duk Won classes in Karachi. Jehangir is also the president of Pakistan Kang Duk Won Tae Kwon Federation under the auspices of World Kang Duk Won Federation based in Denver, Colorado USA

*Mir Martial Arts Academy* held its Belt Promotion Test and Ceremony on May 17, 2026.
We were honoured to have our Chief Patron, Grand Master Saleem A. Jehangir (9th. Dan Black Belt) as the Chief Guest to distribute the certificates and new belts to qualifying students.
We also learned a great deal from him during his address.
Master Shahid Mir (4th. Dan Black Belt), President of Mir Martial Arts Academy and Grand Master Saleem’s first few students from 1972 assisted GM Saleem in the Ceremony.
Congratulations to all new Brown Belts, Blue Belts, Green Belts and Yellow Belts.
