Never miss Salah ..

This verse of the Quran is a general lesson to all those people who are in some way a religious leader. The ayah blames those who invite people to righteousness, but then they refuse to act upon it themselves.

When it says at the end, "... While you read the book?" it implies that taking care of oneself before ordering others is one of the teachings of the Scripture; but those scholars who neglect themselves lack reason, since it says at the end "have you no sense?"

Clearly the combination of the Scripture and the reason leads us to the result that we need to work on our own eternal salvation before we take the message to others.

Indeed .

You're in this world to build a place in Jannah ( paradise ) , never forget that.
