"The *Watermelon Seeds Storytelling Session* is a vibrant, hands-on experience for 10 to 17-year-olds, designed to nurture creativity, cultural awareness, and empathy. Inspired by the watermelon—an enduring symbol of Palestinian resilience—this session blends powerful storytelling with meaningful, sensory activities like clay jewelry making, soap crafting, Palestinian hummus preparation, candle making and more . As participants explore themes of justice, identity, and resistance, they’ll create heartfelt, handmade pieces that reflect their learning and imagination. The session will culminate in a special showcase where mums are warmly invited to witness the stories, crafts, and powerful reflections their children have brought to life. It’s more than an event—it’s a celebration of expression, heritage, and heart."
