The ceremony was graced by distinguished guests including Rev. Fr. Noman Noel (Chief Guest), Rev. Fr. Akash, Rev. Fr. Shazad Peter, and Bro Sherose, whose presence added great honor and significance to the event.

The program commenced with an opening prayer, seeking God’s blessings for Madam Rubina Gill as she embarks on a new journey. teachers presented speeches, sharing their heartfelt experiences and expressing deep appreciation for her leadership, commitment, and inspiring personality. Her contributions towards academic excellence, discipline, and the overall development of the institution were acknowledged with great respect.

A series of performances, including songs and presentations, were organized by the staff as a token of love and gratitude. The atmosphere was filled with emotions as many shared cherished memories and expressed how Madam Rubina Gill positively impacted their lives.

In her farewell address, Madam Rubina Gill expressed her sincere gratitude to the management, teaching ,support staff, students and parents for their unwavering support and cooperation throughout her tenure. The Farewell Ceremony for Class X was held on Wednesday, 25th March 2026 at St. John’s High School. The event was organized by teachers and Principal Madam Rubina Gill to bid a heartfelt farewell to the outgoing students and to celebrate their journey and achievements.

The program was graced by the presence of the Chief Guest, Rev. Fr. Noman Noel, whose kind presence added great value and honor to the occasion. The ceremony commenced with a prayer, seeking blessings for the students as they prepare to step into a new phase of their lives.

Students and teachers shared memorable moments through speeches, expressing gratitude, appreciation, and best wishes. The juniors presented lively performances, including songs and skits, to make the day joyful and memorable for their seniors. The outgoing students also shared their experiences and expressed their heartfelt thanks to the school management and teachers for their continuous guidance and support.

St. John’s High School proudly organized its Sports Day on Saturday, 21 February, with great enthusiasm and vibrant spirit. The event was graced by our esteemed Chief Guest, Rev. Fr. Noman Noel, whose presence added honor and encouragement to the occasion. We were also privileged to welcome our distinguished Guests of Honour, Fr. Akash and Fr. Shahzad Petter, along with the respected Principals of other CBEK schools.

The celebration commenced with a disciplined march past, reflecting unity, confidence, and teamwork. Students actively participated in various athletic events and games, demonstrating remarkable energy, determination, and sportsmanship. The atmosphere throughout the day remained lively, filled with cheers and excitement from participants and spectators alike.

The event concluded with a prize distribution ceremony, where outstanding performances were acknowledged and appreciated. Sports Day proved to be a memorable and inspiring experience, reinforcing the values of discipline, perseverance, and healthy competition among students.

St. John’s High School proudly organized a Subject-Wise Exhibition on Tuesday, 17 February, on the school campus. The event provided students with an excellent opportunity to present their creativity, knowledge, and practical understanding across various subjects.

The exhibition was honored by the gracious presence of our respected Chief Guest, Fr. Noman Noel and our esteemed Special Guest, Sr. Elishba. Principal of St. John’s Convent School Their visit added great value to the occasion and served as a source of motivation and encouragement for the students.

Students enthusiastically showcased a variety of projects, models, charts, experiments, and informative displays. Each presentation reflected the students’ hard work, innovation, and conceptual clarity. The exhibition also helped foster confidence, communication skills, and a deeper interest in learning.

Fr. Noman and Sr. Elishba visited the stalls with great interest, appreciating the students’ efforts and commending the teachers for their dedication and guidance. Their encouraging remarks inspired both students and staff.

The 18th Annual Awards Ceremony for Class 10 was held at St. John’s High School on Saturday, November 22nd, and was celebrated with great enthusiasm and pride. The event honored the hard work, talent, and academic achievements of the students.

The school was privileged to welcome Mr. Shahid Nasim the Chief Executive Officer of the MG Financial Services as the Chief Guest. The Guest of Honor, Rev. Fr. Edward Joseph, along with principals from various schools, graced the occasion with their esteemed presence, adding dignity and inspiration to the programme.

The ceremony commenced with a warm welcome by the school band, followed by a delightful welcome dance performed by the younger students of St. John’s High School.
Principal Madam Rubina Gill presented the academic results to the audience. This year, 95 students appeared in the SSC II Board Examination, of whom 51 students secured A-1 and A grades. The highest percentage, 85.73%, was achieved by Shane-e-Zehra.
The Class IX results were also commendable, with Abdul Nafaay attaining the highest percentage of 92%.
The Principal extended heartfelt congratulations and gratitude to Ms. Jamila Joel on completing her Silver Jubilee of dedicated service.
Students presented excellent and meaningful performances as part of the celebration, followed by the traditional lighting of the lamp—a symbol of knowledge and enlightenment. A melodious prayer song by the school choir created a serene and uplifting atmosphere. Awards were then presented to the high achievers, who received their honours in the proud presence of their parents.
Chief Guest Mr. Shahid Nasim praised the students for their hard work and encouraged them to remain disciplined, focused, and compassionate as they strive toward greater goals. Guest of Honor Rev. Fr. Edward Joseph Vicar General of Archdiocese of Karachi appreciated the school’s commitment to nurturing values and academic excellence, urging students to grow into responsible citizens.

The entire campus was decorated with colorful banners, balloons, and posters highlighting the importance of childhood .The celebration concluded with a vote of thanks, appreciating the efforts of the staff and the cheerful participation of the students. St . John’s High School celebrated Iqbal Day with great enthusiasm on Monday, honouring the life, poetry, and contributions of Allama Muhammad Iqbal, the national poet of Pakistan. The event, attended by students, teachers, and staff from both the Primary and Secondary Sections, aimed to deepen students’ understanding of Iqbal’s philosophy, while also engaging them creatively in the spirit of his poetry and vision.

The Poetry Elocution Competition for classes 6 to 8 was held on 25th October at St. John’s High School with great enthusiasm and participation. The event aimed to encourage students to express their thoughts and emotions through the beauty of poetry and to enhance their public speaking skills.

The competition began with a warm welcome by the English Department, followed by an inspiring address from the Principal, who highlighted the importance of poetry in developing imagination and confidence among students. Participants recited a wide range of poems — from classic works by renowned poets to heartfelt original compositions.

Each participant showcased commendable confidence, clarity, and expression. The audience was captivated by the students’ performances and the depth of emotion in their recitations. The judges evaluated the participants on voice modulation, pronunciation, expression, and overall presentation.

In the end, the winners were announced and awarded certificates and prizes for their outstanding performances. The event concluded with words of appreciation from the judges, who praised the students for their efforts and encouraged them to continue exploring the art of elocution.

Overall, the Poetry Elocution Competition was a resounding success, providing a vibrant platform for young poets and speakers to shine.
