Internal Medicine Interest Group - IMIG

On 2nd May 2026, IMIG’s Alumni and Outreach Wing hosted Aapas Ki Baat 6.0 which featured Dr. Ahmad Nadeem. He shared his journey from Aga Khan University to residency and fellowship at Cleveland Clinic.
From USMLE timelines and residency applications to networking, research, interviews, and life after graduation, the session gave students valuable insight into the residency pathway and lessons learned along the way.

IMIG proudly hosted this month’s Journal Club featuring Dr. Faisal Ismail alongside Dr. Umar Tariq.

Held on 4th May 2026, the session revolved around an insightful discussion of a randomized controlled trial, with an in-depth breakdown of the study methodology, trial design, statistical interpretation, key findings, and clinical relevance. The discussion fostered critical appraisal skills and encouraged interactive participation throughout the session.
