*Visit of Dr. Foyasal Khan from the Dhaka, Bangladesh to the Department of Economics*

The Department of Economics had the pleasure of welcoming Dr. Foyasal Khan during his recent visit to the department. Dr. Khan serves as an Adjunct Faculty member in Economics at South-East University and is also the CEO of Policy House in Dhaka,Bangladesh. During the visit, Dr. Khan met with the Chairperson Prof.Dr Rummana Zaheer and faculty members of the department. The meeting provided an excellent opportunity for academic interaction, where both sides exchanged ideas and discussed contemporary economic issues and areas of mutual interest.

The discussions also focused on exploring possibilities for future research collaboration, academic partnerships, and joint initiatives aimed at promoting research and knowledge sharing in the field of economics.

The Department of Economics appreciates Dr. Foyasal Khan’s visit and looks forward to strengthening academic and research ties in the future.

As part of a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, six first aid essentials kits were received under the project titled “First Aid Essentials,” sponsored by Zia Medical Center.

The kits were prepared and submitted by students of Final Year BS Economics & Finance, including Farrukh Mahmood Mashhadi, Abdul Rehman Rahim, Bilawal Lutuf Ali, Fakeha Nazir, Jahan Zaib, and Asma Abdul Rehan.
