As members of PATEN, we commit to the following guiding principals of mutual collaboration in support of the development of intercultural competence and fostering connections between English teachers in the US and Pakistan.

� To foster the mutual collaboration and development of Pakistani and American English teachers guided by the framework of intercultural competence and understanding

� To work as a collaborative network of dedicated English teacher professionals committed to preparing our students to be global citizens through resource sharing, educational methodologies, and innovative teaching methods.

�To promote high quality English language instruction to ensure access and support for students of all socioeconomic levels

�To support teacher development programs in the development of intercultural competence skills

�To support opportunities for equitable female education

� To add to the advancement and information sharing through active involvement, contributions at industry events, and outreach to promote the advancement intercultural competence

Highlighting some of the amazing work in schools in Pakistan. Here is a snapshot of the Evolution School in Karachi Pakistan.

Founded by very talented Sidrah Niaz and her team of highly qualified and professional educators, the school offers a progressive and global focus on teaching and learning. The innovative curriculum prepares students to face the global challenges and work critically across cultures.
