دیوہیکل اسکویڈ ( Giant Squid ) دنیا کا سب سے بڑا بغیر ریڑھ کی ہڈی والا جانور ( Invertebrate ) ہے جس کی مجموعی لمبائ 33 فٹ تک اور وزن 450 کلوگرام تک ہوتا ہے۔

یہ بحر اوقیانوس ( Atlantic Ocean ) اور بحرالکاہل ( Pacific Ocean ) کے سرد پانیوں میں 2000 فٹ کی گہرائ میں پایا جاتا ہے۔

اس کا صرف ایک ہی قدرتی شکاری ( Natural Predator ) ہے جسکا نام اسپرم وہیل ( S***m Whale ) ہے۔
