~ HAPPY WORLD OSTEOPOROSIS DAY ~

Osteoporosis means 'POROUS BONES'. It is a diseases that weakens the bones, lower the bone density which leads to fractures. Institute of Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation,JSMU organized a walk. The aim of this walk is to highlight the silent bone disease and raise the awareness about its prevention and treatment. In the management of osteoporosis, physiotherapy has proved to be beneficial. It helps reduce the risk of falls, reduce pain, boost muscle and bone strength, and improve posture & balance.
