The school celebrated World Autism Day on 9 April 2026. On this occasion, faculty members and M.S. students from the Institute of Professional Psychology, Bahria University Karachi Campus, actively participated in the event and arranged various recreational and educational activities for parents and students. Counseling sessions were also organized for parents.

Special Children School Karsaz organized Fruit Day to promote healthy eating habits among students, help them learn about different fruits, and encourage sensory exploration through taste, texture, color, and smell. The activity also aimed to make learning enjoyable while developing social, communication, and fine-motor skills. Students participated enthusiastically by preparing fruit charts, making fresh juices, and presenting various fruit-based items, which added creativity and hands-on learning to the event.

Professions Day was organized at Special Children School Karsaz to familiarize students with a variety of professions through role-play, enabling them to better understand the responsibilities and significance of different jobs in everyday life. Children enthusiastically dressed up as doctors, teachers, accountants, painters, chefs, and other professionals, confidently. The role-play activities also enhanced their communication skills, imagination and self-esteem.

Special Children School Karsaz participated in the programme organized by the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (DEPD) Government of Sindh to commemorate the International Day of Persons with Disabilities on 3rd December 2025. The event brought together differently-abled children from across the province to celebrate their talents, strengths, and achievements. Our school also set up a stall showcasing children made items and arranged engaging recreational activities for the participating children. The event was graced by the Honorable Chief Minister of Sindh.

Special Children School Karsaz celebrated the International Day of Persons with Disabilities on 2 December 2025 with the enthusiastic participation and valuable contribution of students from Bahria University Karachi Campus. The event aimed to raise awareness about the abilities and potential of persons with disabilities and to promote inclusivity within society. On this special occasion, the children of the school showcased their talents through a colorful talent show, along with game zones featuring interactive activities that allowed students to enjoy themselves while enhancing their social and motor skills. Students from the Institute of Professional Psychology, Bahria University, further enriched the event by organizing learning-through-fun activities in the game zone. We were honoured by the presence of Principal Capt. Muhammad Imran Khan PN, whose encouragement served as a source of great motivation for all of us.

Athletes from the Special Children School Karsaz participated in the Special Olympics Regional Athletics Competitions organized by Special Olympics Pakistan. They competed in various track and field events, including the 50m, 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, and 1500m races, as well as the long jump and standing jump. The event served as part of the selection process for the upcoming National Games. The athletes displayed great enthusiasm, sportsmanship, and teamwork, bringing pride to the school.

International White Cane Day is observed every year on October 15. This important day was first officially proclaimed by the World Blind Union in 1964 and later received international recognition from the United Nations, further emphasizing its importance in promoting the rights and equality of blind and visually impaired persons around the world. World Cerebral Palsy Day observed annually in the month of October is a global initiative dedicated to raising awareness about cerebral palsy and promoting the rights, inclusion, and well-being of individuals affected by the condition. In this connection, students with cerebral palsy from the Special Children School Karsaz participated in a variety of activities, including tableaus, singing, and quizzes, through which they enthusiastically showcased their talents and abilities.

Students of the Special Children School Karsaz along with students from other schools, attended a programme organized by Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabiliteis (DEPD) as part of the Independence Day celebrations held at the Mausoleum of Quaid-i-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah. The Chief Minister of Sindh was the chief guest at the event. The children enthusiastically participated in the flag-hoisting ceremony, national songs, and cultural performances, showcasing their patriotism and talent.
