Presented our design of a Smart Device that we are using to measure water consumption of households to estimate the water demand of Karachi as part of the Karachi Water Project (www. karachiwaterproject.com) at held at Brussels, Belgium. It’s so humbling to present the work that we have been doing over the years at Habib University
The team includes researchers, students, faculty, and professionals who are trying to understand water consumption in Karachi, Pakistan. It will eventually help policymakers provide the data needed to target water inequality and insecurity in the city.
Thanks to Habib University and IEEE Industrial Electronics Society for recognizing and supporting this work.
The research work is supported through HEC Pakistan NRPU Research Grant.
