The Centre of Excellence in Trauma and Emergencies (CETE) has contributed to a significant NIHR Global Health Group study titled Equi Injury, focused on equitable access to quality healthcare for injured patients across four low- and middle-income countries. This important multi-country initiative spans South Africa, Ghana, Rwanda, and Pakistan, with AKU representing Pakistan in the collaboration. The findings are now available and add valuable insight into strengthening trauma systems and improving equity in emergency care across diverse health settings.

Celebrating International Workers' Day in Hyderabad!

Our Department of Community Health Sciences organized an event on 1st May to celebrate International Workers' Day, highlighting the importance of workers’ rights and well-being. The Workplace Safety & Health Seminar saw participation from professionals, policymakers, and community stakeholders with discussions focused on preventing occupational hazards, creating awareness, and strengthening safety practices across different sectors.
