DECISIONS OF PMC COUNCIL
Islamabad 28th September 2022:
The Pakistan Medical Commission Council meeting held at PMC Office.
1) The Council members unanimously decided that the MDCAT exam shall be held on 13th or 20th of November 2022.
2) The exam will be conducted by PMC through the provincial public university in all the provinces, ICT on one day at the same time.
The following universities were decided to hold the MDCAT examination for Pakistani students i.e
i. Bolan University of Medical & Health Sciences (Baluchistan)
ii. University of Health Sciences Lahore (Punjab)
iii. Khyber Medical University Peshawar (KPK)
iv. Dow University of Health sciences Karachi (Sindh)
v. Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Medical University Islamabad (ICT,AJK,Gilgit Baltistan).
03) It was decided that the pass percentage of MBBS will be 55% and BDS will be 45%.
04) It was decided that NUMS affiliated colleges MDCAT Exam will be conducted by PMC through NUMS separately and only those students can appear in these colleges who intends to get admission in only these colleges.
05) The examination shall be paper based manual exam and the answers sheets will be uploaded on the exam holding universities and PMC website on the same day.
06) It was also decided to extend 10 days for registration of MDCAT exam with PMC the portal has been opened for the same.

1) MDCAT will be conducted in November, most probably on the 13th or 20th of Nov.
2) Eligibility Criteria; MBBS 55% , BDS 45%
3) In Each Province Government sector University will conduct MDCAT on single day across the Country
4) Passing Mark's for FSC 60%
5) 2.5 lakh students are going to appear in MDCAT 2022 against 20K seats.
i. 80k from Punjab
ii. 42k from Sindh
iii.44k from KPK
6) In Sindh Dow will be the Conducting bodies of MDCAT 2022. 7) Universities will give results to PMC which will be announced within 1 week after conducting test

(DUHS) University will conduct MDCAT Test in Sindh.
