How to Choose optional subjects ?
1:- see what subjects compliment your degree.
2:- look for the subjects that develop interest in you.
3:- Is there sufficient material ( books, lectures and teachers) available for that subject.
4:- What is the scoring trend for that subject.
5:- Is there any overlapping between or among subjects.

How to improve writing skills?
1:- Read carefully everything.
2:- Write daily.
3:- Improve grammer.
4:- Write simple sentences at first.
5:- Work on subject verb agreement.
6:- Improve Vocabulary.
7:- Suppose you have read one editorial from dawn. Try to write in in your own words. You can copy words from the editorial too.

How to read Dawn Newspaper?
1:- One must read the Front page, backpage, international pages and the opinion and editorial pages. Other pages should also be read if there is any special piece of writing.
2:- Buy one register to write meaning of difficult words. Write meaning, synonym and Antonym of the word and make a sentence.
On first day you may find 50 new words. These new words will decrease with every passing day.
3:- Get a laptop. Make a folder with CSS name. Make subfolders with names International, national, sports etc
4:- Make word documents of important national and international events happening. Daily update those word documents. (This is current affairs notes making).
5:- Try to make precis of one of the editorials of dawn. This will help in precis writing as well as essay writing.
6:- Go through the notes in laptop as well as word register daily.
